Student Conduct

It is expected that all students enrolled at Allied Health Institute will act in a professional manner and will show self respect and respect for others at all times. Respect for the rights, privileges, and a sensibility of others is essential in preserving the professional and learning environment at the Institute.

In the interest of maintaining professional conduct among each student enrolled at the Institute, policies have been established. Each student is required to adhere to these policies that represent the program's minimum standards of performance, professionalism and respectful behavior. Any student who does not adhere to the rules specified in these policies, or behaves in a generally unacceptable manner, may be referred to the Dean of Academics for disciplinary action, up to and including permanent dismissal. Allied Health Institute’s online programs are demanding and require serious commitment from its students. For this reason, Allied Health Institute has established the Student Handbook which contains a code of ethics, rules, and procedures. These policies support the Institute’s mission and are to be used as a reference guide for each student. Each student will receive a copy of this handbook from their Admissions Representative. Students will be advised of addenda to the handbook when revisions to Institute policies are adopted and the most recent version of the handbook is emailed to students.
