Allied Health Institute Privacy Policy
Allied Health Institute ensures the confidentiality of student records in accordance with the Family Education
Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, known as the Buckley Amendment. Your familyís financial
information and the type and amount of your aid will be held in confidence. In order to release
information to other individuals such as your spouse, parent, or significant other, you must provide written
consent. You may provide written consent to the Financial Aid office or the registrarís office. The
school will also permit students to obtain a copy of records upon payment of a reproduction fee.
Students may request that the school amend his or her education records on the grounds that they are
inaccurate, misleading or in violation of the studentís rights or privacy. In the event the school refuses to
amend the records, the student may, after complying with the student complaints procedure, request a
hearing. If the outcome is unsatisfactory to the student, the student may submit an explanatory statement
for inclusion in his or her education record. More information regarding FERPA is available at

Students have the right to file a complaint with the Family Policy Compliance Office, U.S. Department of
Education, 400 Maryland Avenue, SW, Washington, D.C. 20202-5920.
