The Healthcare Management program provides students the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and critical skills necessary for a managerial position in a hospital, clinic, physician’s office or other healthcare companies. Throughout this program students are introduced to a vast knowledgebase required in the areas of anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology, medical terminology, medical front office procedures including finance, billing and coding, and management techniques. The program directs students to critical-thinking and problem-solving solutions that can be used with their peers, clients and employers. The program includes a balance of instruction that encompasses general education courses in communications, humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and technology. Students are given the tools to function successfully in an entry level position as a Healthcare Manager.
